Queen’s College offers a large range of sports for men and women to compete in, playing against teams from the other University of Melbourne colleges. There are first and second teams available in the more popular sports allowing both those with skill or those new to the game the chance to take part.

We have a proud history with numerous premierships to our name. Whether on the field, track or water, we have shown that we can take on the best. Some recent achievements include:

  • Overall sporting champions 2007, 2008

The Magoos

The ‘twos’ teams, or Magoos as they are well known, is the perfect chance to get to know those you are living with and have a great time. And you don’t need to be great at the sport or have even played it before! It’s just about getting out there and having fun.

Short Seasons, Great Support

Unlike a university or club team there is no need to make a commitment to a whole season with most of the sports played over a few weeks or a weekend. Here at Queen’s this means that you can try your hand at one or all of the sports offered.

Sport at Queen’s isn’t just for those out on the ground. There are many large events designed for everyone to get involved and have a great time. We are well known for having one of the largest turnouts to support our teams during matches. Imagine being surrounded by over 150 close friends all hoping for the same thing – to get the chance to see the green, gold and chocolate pass the finish line in first place.
