Scholarships and Bursaries.
Queen’s College is dedicated to academic excellence.
Each year the College awards scholarships in four different areas.
As a rule these scholarships must be applied for. This does not apply to most continuation scholarships.
For a number of scholarships applicants must demonstrate financial disadvantage or hardship. This is indicated in the description of the scholarship. Please review the scholarships below. To apply for these scholarships it may be necessary to submit the Financial Assistance application form.
Bursaries – financial aid
Queen’s College also offers financial aid to students who are hampered by financial need. This aid is referred to as bursaries, visit the Queen’s College Bursaries page for further information.
Queen’s College is dedicated to academic excellence, and is therefore very keen to attract and retain students with an excellent academic record.
These are awarded to undergraduate students entering the College for the first time at first year level. They are awarded on the basis of results obtained in Year 12, i.e. the ATAR score, as well as other criteria, such as suitability for college life.
These are awarded to undergraduate students who are already resident at the College or to students entering the College at a second year level or higher. They are awarded on the basis of results obtained in the annual University examinations.
These prestigious scholarships are restricted to particular categories of undergraduate students, mostly in relation to their achievements or the promise that they show.
