Queens College will host 3 events as part of its Winter/Spring Concert Series organised by Dr Kathleen McGuire, Director of Music.

Tickets for Concerts 1 & 2 are available online at the special discount rate of $20 in advance ($15 concession) or at the door for $25 ($20 concession).

Concert 3 is free.

SERAPHIM TRIO AT QUEEN’S

MONDAY 7 OCTOBER, 7.30PM

Exquisite, acclaimed chamber music – Helen Ayres (Violin), Anna Goldsworthy (Piano) and Timothy Nankervis (Cello) are “without doubt one of Australia’s most impressive small ensembles.” (The Australian) Frequently broadcast on ABC Classic FM, Seraphim Trio will be joined by virtuoso trumpet player Dave Elton to play works by Beethoven, Hummel and Weill.

QUEEN’S COLLEGE EMERGING ARTISTS

FRIDAY 25 OCTOBER, 7.30PM

Year-end variety concert featuring the debut of the new Queen’s College Chorus conducted by Dr Kathleen McGuire, fiercely popular a cappella ensemble the Gin & Tonics, plus selections from the effervescent musical Sweeney Todd by Stephen Sondheim in a special encore performance from MADS’ (Music And Drama Society) September production.
