2016 has been another exciting year for the Wyvern Society with dinners, reunions and other events. Thank you to everyone who has supported the Society through attending events, volunteering and contributing energy.
2017 looks to be even bigger with the commencement of Professor Stewart Gill, beginning as Master in January, the possibility of another Wyvern Ball and numerous other activities being assessed.
Membership of the Wyvern Society is provided to those who have lived in residence in the College for six months or more. The society committee is made up of volunteers and can only function thanks to the energy and enthusiasm of decades of Wyvern volunteer supporters.
If you would like to help organise an event, suggest a new event or coordinate a mentoring program you are welcome to join the committee. The committee is not officially selected until the AGM on Sunday 12 February but we are keen to hear from Wyverns that are thinking of being involved next year. If you are send an email to the Arch Wyvern at archwyvern@queens.unimelb.edu.au.
In particular we are keen to heard from 1977, 1987, 1997 and 2007 Freshers who will be having their decade reunions next year. If there is something special you would like to organise for your fresher year, the Society would like to hear your suggestions.
