- Summary
Queen’s College is dedicated to academic excellence, and is therefore very keen to attract and retain students with an excellent academic record. Each year the College awards scholarships in three areas:
- Entrance scholarships;
- Continuation scholarships;
- Special scholarships.
- Queen’s College also offers financial aid to students who are hampered by financial need. This aid is referred to as bursaries and includes:
- Paid Employment
Paid employment is provided to students in various areas of the college, especially within the catering and house divisions. This is paid at the award rate.
- The Master’s Bursary Fund
More substantial bursaries up to $2500 may be obtained from the Master’s Bursary Fund. You may apply for bursaries from the Master’s Bursary Fund when filling out the application form to enter College.

Entrance Scholarships
These are awarded to students entering the College for the first time at first year level. They are awarded on the basis of results obtained in Year 12, i.e. the TER/ENTER score, as well as other criteria, such as suitability for college life.

Continuation Scholarships
These are awarded to undergraduate students who are already resident at the College or to students entering the College at a second year level or higher. They are awarded on the basis of results obtained in the annual University examinations.
